FR – Né en 2025 en collaboration avec le Théâtre de la Parole, le projet explore la manière dont chacun se présente au monde, et plus particulièrement comment les personnes perçues comme différentes ou racisées, adoptées ajustent leur présence, leur posture ou leur apparence pour éviter le rejet ou la discrimination.
Le code vestimentaire y apparaît comme l’un des prismes du regard social, sans en être le centre : un langage où se projettent attentes, héritages et préjugés. À travers des portraits, des vêtements culturels et des témoignages audio, l’exposition invite à réfléchir à la manière dont nous existons face aux autres, entre visibilité, protection et affirmation de soi.
EN – Born in 2025 in collaboration with the Théâtre de la Parole, the project explores how each person presents themselves to the world, and more specifically how people perceived as different or racialised, or those who are adopted, adjust their presence, posture or appearance to avoid rejection or discrimination.
The dress code appears here as one of the lenses through which social perception operates, without being the central focus: a language onto which expectations, heritage and prejudice are projected. Through portraits, cultural garments and audio testimonies, the exhibition invites visitors to reflect on how we exist in front of others, navigating between visibility, protection and self‑affirmation.
